See the ingredient checklist
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped preserved lemon (seeds removed)
  • 2 teaspoons preserved lemon brine (plus more to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons thinly sliced chives
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon water

Let the brine set the seasoning

Preserved lemons vary in saltiness, so add the measured brine first and taste. The water loosens the dressing without adding more salt.

At the table

Spoon over crisp lettuce wedges or serve in a small bowl with cut vegetables.
