How to make Turkey Gravy with Pan Drippings and Thyme
Strain the turkey drippings through a fine sieve and measure out 2 1/2 cups.
Melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and thyme and cook for about 1 minute, until the mixture takes on a little color.
Add the drippings gradually while whisking. Bring the gravy to a boil, lower the heat and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes, whisking until it thickens.
